On Saturday, January 23, 2013 at 9:00 am, Join the Phoenix Ivy Council for invites alumni and their guests to a special breakfast and exclusive lecture presentation by ASU Professor Gordon Knox that provides a fascinating insight into the genius of Leonardo daVinci and not only the mind of a genius; but also into the fundamental scientific and artistic principles innovations that he discovered as an inventor, artist, scientist and philosopher. Da Vinci. The presentation is followed by a group self-guided tour of the da Vinci Exhibit that brings to life the full range of his genius as an inventor, artist, scientist, anatomist, engineer, architect, sculptor and philosopher. The Arizona Science Center is located in downtown Phoenix (600 E. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020). Cover charge of $30 for adults and $25 for children that includes breakfast, presentation and group tour admissions.

The Phoenix Ivy Council aims to foster local social, cultural, educational, and civic activities benefiting the development of greater Phoenix. It is perhaps the only group of its kind in the country, representing nearly 11,000 alums residing in the greater Phoenix area and Arizona at large. Participating alum groups are members of: The Ivy League, MIT, Seven Sisters and the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). It is perhaps the only group of its kind in the country, representing nearly 10,000 alums residing in the greater Phoenix area and Arizona at-large.
The Phoenix Ivy Council is managed by a board of directors, which is comprised of representatives of its participating alum groups, and is funded by donations, sponsorships and income generated as a result of its events, not through individual dues.
